Suit V-Bot 3.0 (DO NOT BUY, PRICE IS FOR ARCHIVING PURPOSES)

ATTENTION: This avatar is deprecated and extremely difficult to upload to VRC for the time being, which is why I cant sell this avatar in good conscience until I have fixed the issue. The price tag does not reflect the value of the avatar, it is simply meant to deter buyers whilst still allowing the product to be found on Gumroad discover. For those of you wondering when I will get around to fixing the avatar: I plan to fix the avatar over the holidays and have it done by the end of February March April May 2024 (bugs are a b*tch), at which point the avatars price will be lowered back to something reasonable. Again, please don't buy this product until it has been fixed.

Life is tough for a corporate android in the sprawling neon mega-city, but that's no excuse for being unfashionable. So get your suit, straighten your tie, put on your shades, and show the biologicals just how sophisticated next gen robotics can really be. And don't forget your .44 magnum before hitting the streets; Asimov's laws of robotics be damned if it means company property can't protect itself from cyber-scrappers.

Disclaimer: If this avatar seems familiar to you, that's because the model originally came from another avatar made by Fob, who gave me permission to sell this improved version of the Suit Vbot, in exchange for royalties.

The original avatar was pretty barebones when I bought it, which is why I have added the following improvements:

1. Alternative hand gestures (middle finger included)
2. GoGo Loco menu with poses, dances, flying and more!

   

3. Hats that are optional and swappable in-game

   

4. Headlamp for lighting up your surroundings (only on PC)

   

5. Color changing dial for the avatar's body, ranging from raging red to precious pink.

   

6. Sword (technically a cutlass)

   

7. Magnum revolver (gunshot sound & muzzle flash available exclusively on PC)

   

   

8. Pen integrated into the index finger. Pen thickness and color are changeable in-game

   

9. Aviator sunglasses (toggleable)

   

10. Seats for your friends; located on the left hand, shoulders and one more place ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (all independently toggleable)

    

If you are interested in upgrading your arsenal to something more functional & impressive, checkout Liindy's Revolver or free interactable Sniper Rifle (not included with this purchase).

Performance:

Once uploaded to VRChat, the performance rating should be "very poor" on Quest, and "poor" on PC. In testing, however, both versions seem to perform well despite their rating. If the rating is an issue to you, improving it should be as simple as removing a few of the assets in Unity. the PC version's download size should be under 4mb and the Quest version's should be under 2mb, so avatar loading should be fairly quick.

Additional disclaimer:

Unlike most other avatars, the upload process for the Quest version of this avatar has a few additional steps which are explained in the video tutorial included with your purchase. I wanted to make the upload process for this avatar as streamlined as possible, but I couldn't figure out a way to remove these extra steps. No additional downloads will have to be made, and the extra steps shouldn't take more than two minutes of your time; it is a simple matter of selecting the correct Quest compatible shader on two materials. The whole process is recorded on the video tutorial and should be easy to understand even for someone who has no experience uploading avatars. Future VRC software updates will inevitably change the process for uploading avatars, and in some cases, will cause roadblocks for old avatars which can make avatar uploading a frustrating and lengthy process. I cannot promise that this avatar will be any different in that regard, and I can't dedicate my time to keep the avatar updated since I'm studying at the time of writing this, but if you have any questions or need help uploading, feel free to join the discord group or dm me, although you'd probably be better off asking someone more experienced than me.
